How do I submit extra visits?
CDP doulas can now start submitting paperwork for extra visits!

Starting January 1st, 2025, doulas will be able to provide four additional visits for eligible clients, bringing the total to eight visits. The two prenatal and two postpartum visits will continue to be billed as part of the global package. Beyond that, doulas can offer any combination of prenatal or postpartum visits, up to four additional visits. Below are the key detail to ensure a smooth process:
1. Eligibility Requirements
Clients qualify for these additional visits if they meet one of the following criteria:
- Clients with IHN and OHP: Baby must be born on or after January 1, 2025.
- Clients with Pacific Source: Baby must be born on or after January 1, 2025, OR if the global package has not been submitted yet.
2. Important Notes & Key Rules
- You can start providing these additional visits now.
- Multiple doulas can provide these additional visits. If a client wants the extra visits and you’re unavailable, another doula can offer them.
- Only one service can be provided per day.
- You do not have to attend the birth to provide these extra visits.
- The global package must be submitted before these additional visits can be billed.
- We will bill submissions in the order they are received.

Additionally, please note that, as stated in the document, payment will not be issued to the doula until the CDP is reimbursed by the insurance company.
