Postpartum Mood Disorders Resources

 If You Are In Crisis #


If you experience significant emotional distress or are in a crisis situation, please contact your doctor’s office or go to the nearest emergency room. In case of a medical or psychiatric emergency, please call 911. If you or someone else is thinking about hurting themselves, you may also contact the national 24-hour suicide hotline at 1-(800)-273-TALK (1-800-273-8255) or 1-(800)-SUICIDE (1-800-784-2433). They have trained counselors that can help you over the phone.

  • Nurturing Hearts  Connect with other parents and get and give support. Mary Jackson is a Registered Nurse, with a certification in Maternal Mental Health. She will facilitate a Perinatal Support Circle for new andsoon-to-be parents struggling with Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs). For more information contact:
