What meetings do I need to attend as a CDP doula?

All CDP doulas, whether active or volunteer, are required to attend at least eight (70%) of the CDP Hub Up-To-Date meetings and four (33%) of the Birth Talk meetings each year. Please remember that everything shared at CDP meetings is de-identified, and confidentiality is expected from everyone.

  • Birth Talk Meetings:
    • Purpose: A time for sharing information, case reviews, asking questions, building community, and learning from each other.
    • Schedule: Typically held on the second Wednesday of each month from 5:45 PM to 7:30 PM.
    • Location: Locations alternate by county throughout the year, with periodic online options.
  • Hub Up-To-Date Meetings:
    • Purpose: Provides program updates, community partner information, and details about resources and events.
    • Schedule: Typically held on the last Tuesday of each month from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Note: There are no meetings in December.
    • Location: Currently held on Zoom.
