What are the requirements for THW recertification?

Schedule a Meeting:
- Contact support@communitydoulaprogram.org at least 9 months before your certification expires to schedule a meeting.
Oral Health Training:
- Complete the state-provided training available here
  - At the end, there is an option to fill out a certificate with your name – make sure you do this and send it to support@communitydoulaprogram.org
CPR Certification:
- Ensure your CPR certification is up to date for Adults, Children, and Infants. Certification is available through the Red Cross. The online training is available at this link, and you can search for in-person training through this link; these should both be valid for 2 years.
Complete 20 Continuing Education Units (CEUs):
- 3 CEUs in Suicide Prevention
  - OHA-sponsored training available here
- 17 CEUs of your choice
  - As you complete your CEUs, obtain proof of completion (e.g., a certificate) send it to support@communitydoulaprogram.org. You can send them individually as you complete them, but they must be submitted at least 3 months before your expiration date.
THW Application:
- Once your CEUs are completed let support@communitydoulaprogram.org know and they will email you the application. Fill it out electronically and submit it as instructed.
